A Sunday Vigil Mass is held on the First & Third Saturday of each Month:

  • (Summer) 4pm
  • (Winter) 2pm

Information

Saint Francis Xavier’s is a brick-built church with red sandstone dressings. The church was opened 1895 to cater for the workers of Waterside ironworks. At its peak, the ironworks was one of the largest in Ayrshire and is now being developed as a centre for the industrial heritage of Ayrshire.
