The visit of the relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux will be a massive occasion for the Diocese and for our three parish communities – an occasion when there will be many, many visitors to the Cathedral who need to be welcomed, ushered, fed and looked after as well as lots of liturgies to be organised.

Whats Happening?

Visit of the Relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux

As you all know the Relics of St. Thérèse of Lisieux are coming to St. Margaret’s Cathedral on the evening of Sunday September 1st and remaining with us until lunchtime on Tuesday September 3rd.

This will be a massive occasion for the Diocese and for our three parish communities – an occasion when there will be many, many visitors to the Cathedral who need to be welcomed, ushered, fed and looked after as well as lots of liturgies to be organized.

Volunteer Information Session

We need as many parishioners as possible, from all three of our parish families, to volunteer their time and talents to ensure that everyone who comes to visit the Relics has a truly memorable experience – both spiritually and physically.

I would be extremely grateful then if you would give some serious thought to how you could give your time to help.

There will be a meeting in the Cathedral Hall to start co-ordinating this wonderful occasion on WEDNESDAY JUNE 19TH AT 7 P.M. Please try to come along.

Thank you.
Fr. David.
